‘People’s Cards’, prepared by Milas Municipality to reduce the burden of citizens in difficult economic conditions, are delivered to low-income families in return for signature.

Continuing its efforts to support citizens in need in today’s conditions, where economic crisis, poverty and deprivation are difficult for people to breathe, Milas Municipality has implemented the public card application.

According to the numbers; Milas Municipality, which provided financial aid to low-income families with 246 thousand 926 TL in 2019, 337 thousand 038 TL in 2020, 431 thousand 400 TL in 2021 and 722 thousand 760 TL in 2022, allocated a budget of 1 million 500 thousand TL for citizens in need of help.

Milas Mayor Muhammet Tokat, who stated that they continue to work in a planned manner as the local administration in order to prevent income injustice, said, “In the first quarter of 2023, 835 citizens applied for aid. Applications for social assistance increase every year. For this reason, we have considered the People’s Card Project necessary and put it into practice.

Our citizens who deserve to receive assistance during the year in which the application is made will be able to use the amount to be regularly deposited on their cards monthly until the end of the year, according to their needs, for cash withdrawals or shopping. said.
