Anadolu Savunma showcased its SEYİT 8×8 Tactical Wheeled Vehicle at the 16th International Defense Industry Fair, IDEF.
Since 2011, Anadolu Savunma has been providing services to public institutions and organizations with the design and production of armored midibuses. In 2017, the company decided to expand its commercial vehicle production and R&D capabilities to include Tactical Wheeled Military Trucks for the defense industry. Anadolu Savunma continues to serve the Turkish Armed Forces with its existing inventory of 8×8 Tactical Wheeled Vehicles. During the 16th edition of the International Defense Industry Fair, IDEF 2023, Anadolu Savunma exhibited the SEYİT 8×8 Tactical Wheeled model in its booth and also introduced the preview of the SEYİT 4×4 and 6×6 Tactical Wheeled models, which are in the prototype stage and will be showcased in future fairs.
As a global Turkish brand, the 16th edition of IDEF 2023, held from July 25 to 28, 2023, brought together key players in the defense industry at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul. The event was hosted by the Ministry of National Defense and organized under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
Anadolu Savunma has been successfully incorporating its expertise in R&D into the defense industry and stands out with its domestically produced vehicles, meeting the high demands of its stakeholders, including the Turkish Armed Forces.
The company offers a wide service network, with 93 different service points nationwide, ensuring rapid service to end-users. All authorized units within Anadolu Savunma’s extensive after-sales service network undergo periodic training and authorization for the maintenance of SEYİT vehicles.

The newly introduced SEYİT 4×4 and 6×6 vehicles at IDEF 2023 can be configured in various ways, similar to the 8×8 vehicles. They come with two different types of cabins, armored and unarmored, designed to perform tasks in challenging terrain conditions. The 4×4 vehicles have a payload capacity of up to 10 tons, and the 6×6 vehicles can carry up to 16 tons, with useful chassis areas ranging from 5200 mm to 7800 mm. The vehicles are capable of climbing 60% steep slopes and crossing water depths of up to 1 meter. They can operate in harsh environmental temperatures ranging from -32 to +55 degrees Celsius and have a range of 750 kilometers.
The SEYİT 8×8 Double Cabin Tactical Wheeled model showcased at the fair is the preferred vehicle for the Low Altitude Radar System Project developed by Aselsan and offered to the Turkish Armed Forces inventory. The vehicle has a 435-horsepower engine and a 7-speed automatic transmission, with a carrying capacity of 43 tons. It can operate in all kinds of challenging terrain conditions, thanks to its independent suspension, ability to climb 60% steep slopes under combat load, and capability to cross 1-meter-deep water without preparation. The vehicle’s interior design, including the double cabin, was developed by Anadolu Savunma’s R&D engineers in close collaboration with Aselsan, catering to the needs of the end-users. Both the armored single and double cabin versions of the SEYİT 8×8 were chosen for the High-Frequency Electronic Attack System Project developed by Aselsan.
