Organized by the Turkish Rowing Federation, the Sanmar Maritime Seniors Turkey Championship will be held in Köyceğiz Lake on March 29-31. The champion of the Senior category of the season will be determined in the races.

More than 10 clubs and more than 150 athletes will row on the 2000-meter course at the Sanmar Maritime Seniors Turkey Championship, which will be held with the support of Köyceğiz Municipality. The races will be competed in Single Double (1x), Two Double (2x), Two Single (2-), Four Double (4x), Four Single (4-) and Eight Single Steers (8+) boat classes in the Senior, U23 and Master categories. . The champion of the senior category will be determined at the end of these races.

During the Sanmar Maritime Seniors Turkey Championship races, the rowing athletes who lost their lives in the earthquake will continue to be remembered. Adiyaman Youth and Sports Club athletes, Mir Berke Mutlu, Halil İbrahim Elvermez, Mehmet Kadir Özbilgin and Alper Efe Taştaş, who lost their lives in the earthquake, will be commemorated by the Turkish Rowing Federation officials at the award ceremony.
