Karabağlar Municipality Regional Mukhtars Meeting has ended.
The last of the regional muhtar meetings organized by the Karabağlar Municipality to determine the problems of the neighborhoods with mutual exchange of views and organized a solution to them. Previously in 2 groups met with the muhtars Karabağlar Mayor Muhittin Selvitopu, the last meeting listened to the demands of 19 neighborhood mukhtars.
At the 3rd meeting held in the Karabağlar Municipal Assembly Hall, deputy mayors and managers took part and received the demands one by one.
Mayor Selvitopu stated that they had to take a break from these meetings every 6 months in previous years due to their pandem and natural disasters.
Mayor Selvitopu, who wished mercy from Allah to the citizens who lost their lives in earthquake and flood disasters, condolences to their relatives and urgent healing to the wounded, said, “We hope we will not experience such pain again. For this, we must be prepared for disasters at any moment by taking advantage of reason and science. As Karabağlar Municipality, we strive to do our part in this regard. We renewed the plans of the 2000 hectares area in our field of responsibility. We launched the Digital Archive System. Urban transformation must be accelerated. For this, each institution should fulfill the task falling on it. ”
Stating that urban transformation should be in place based on 100 percent compromise with citizens, President Selvitopu said, “The best example of this is the project carried out by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in Uzundere. I always say that local governments should be given full authority for urban transformation. The Ministry of Environmental Urbanization and Climate Change already has the authority to supervise. ”
Asphalt facility is outdated
Mayor Selvitopu stated that the maintenance of the asphalt production facility of Karabağlar Municipality will be completed in the coming days and said:
“We are not only in these meetings but also in communication with you. Our friends are trying to do their part in the area. We are in the field with our strength. After the re -commissioning of our asphalt battery, our intensive asphalting works will begin in our neighborhoods. Your priorities will be taken into consideration and will continue throughout the season. In the coming period, we will concentrate in the area and produce more services in our parks and streets. ”
Mayor Selvitopu stated that the construction of Atatürk Youth and Sports Center continued rapidly and said, “We will open our Aqua Life Pools, which hosted 55 thousand people last year, in June. More than 20 thousand children visited our Nasreddin Hodja Children’s Culture Science Center. We aim to open Çalıkuşu District Center, which will serve our 4 neighborhoods, next month. ”

Later, the muhtars took the floor and conveyed their problems, demands and opinions in their neighborhoods.
