Kemalpaşa Mayor Rıdvan Karakayalı stated that they lost a lot of time because the tenders held by Kemalpaşa Municipality in February were inconclusive.
The tenders for the kindergarten and marketplace planned by Kemalpaşa Municipality in Armutlu Neighborhood on February 24 were inconclusive. While no firm participated in the tender for the construction of Armutlu Day Care Home (Nursery), which Kemalpaşa Mayor Rıdvan Karakayalı planned to bring the fourth one to the district, the tender for the construction of Armutlu Marketplace, which was held on the same date, was canceled because the bids of the 4 participating firms were far above the approximate cost.
‘WE ARE LOST OF TIME’
President Rıdvan Karakayalı, who stated that they have been suffering in the process of finalizing the tenders recently, said, “We create all our plans and resources for a service we aim and start the tender process, but we are experiencing a significant loss of time due to problems such as not participating in the tenders and offers exceeding the cost. The Atatürk Memorial House project, which started to work in the past months, reached the end only in the 4th tender. The effect of this process on us is at least 300 days as a waste of time. The economic situation in our country and the price imbalance in goods and services make it almost impossible to produce jobs. No matter what happens, we continue our struggle with determination to fulfill the promises we made to our citizens, but the disruptions experienced are reasons beyond our control. We felt the need to inform our citizens about this issue.”
