According to a survey conducted by Kaspersky among employees in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region, 55% of employees in Turkey are afraid of losing their jobs to robots.

The use of artificial intelligence is increasing day by day…  Robots are used in many job positions around the world. For years, there have been robots that wash cars, deliver orders, sort goods in warehouses, distribute medicines to patients, and do assembly work in factories. In a survey conducted by Kaspersky among employees in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region, employees have some concerns about the robots and automation systems used by companies. 55% of employees in Turkey are afraid of losing their jobs to a robot, and one out of every four employees (26%) reports that they have heard of cybersecurity incidents related to robots or automated systems in their company. However, many employees are also aware of the positive effects of robotization.

Robots Protect Employees From Dangerous Jobs!

Employees who participated in the survey from Turkey also had positive responses about the existence of robots. According to the survey, which stated that automation has great benefits for the health of the employees, 82% of the employees stated that the robots freed them from doing physically demanding or dangerous work. 44% say this reduces the likelihood of work-related accidents caused by the human factor.

In addition, 51% of employees state that robots increase efficiency in production processes and provide economic benefits. In addition, 39% believe that robotization offers employees the opportunity to retrain for more interesting and higher-paying positions.
