The Press Conference of the Istanbul Economic Summit took place on August 22nd, Tuesday, at the Çırağan Palace.
This year, under the theme “Investment Opportunities in Turkey for European Companies,” the Istanbul Economic Summit will be held in Berlin from September 28th to October 1st and for the 7th time at the Çırağan Palace on December 8th-9th with the main theme of “Sustainable Living and Smart Cities.” Prior to the Istanbul Economic Summit, Abdullah Değer, the Executive Chairman of the Istanbul Economic Summit, Kaan Saltık, the Chairman of Koluman Holding Board of Directors, Aytül Erçil, Co-Founder and CEO of Vispera, Furkan Tanrıverdi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SuperPay, Uğur Gülek Balta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uğurcan Customs Consultancy, Taner Karaoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karaoğlu Group, along with the Board Members of the Istanbul Economic Summit gathered at the press conference.
The Istanbul Economic Summit, to be held on December 8th-9th, 2023, for the 7th time at the Çırağan Palace, will focus around the main theme of “Sustainable Living and Smart Cities.” The summit aims to explore the potential of sustainable practices and innovative technologies in shaping the future of urban environments. The Istanbul Economic Summit, organized with the mission of creating a better world, will serve as a roadmap and reference point for crucial topics such as the world’s economic situation, adaptation to climate change, access to safe food, income inequality, gender equality and empowerment of women, ensuring peaceful and prosperous lives for all, enhancing life sustainably for future generations, access to sustainable energy, and efficient resource utilization. The summit will host sessions and panels for discussing current global developments, future projections, and effective solutions to existing problems.

The Istanbul Economic Summit in Berlin will be held in collaboration with the Turkish Embassy in Berlin under the patronage of Ambassador Ahmet Başar Şen. The summit, held in partnership with the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TD-IHK), will take place from September 28th to October 1st at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Berlin.
The summit, which will have 150 businesspeople flying on a Turkish Airlines private passenger plane and the participation of numerous businesspeople from Germany, aims to bring together prominent figures, experts, and representatives from both Turkish and European business worlds to explore investment opportunities and facilitate business-to-business (B2B) meetings. The summit will focus on Turkey’s attractive investment environment, providing a platform for participants to exchange information, discuss new trends, and establish valuable connections.
