In this episode, Eylül Aşkın hosted Kemal Oruç, Founder of Tida Art and Drama Kumpanya, Artistic Director of Drama Kumpanya, former President of Theater Education Association, director, writer, actor and trainer. He talked about unknown things about the artist from Adana and his current and future projects.
“I have been working since I was 7 years old.”
Stating that he started working as a waiter at the age of seven, Kemal Oruç stated that he has been in business life continuously since then. Kemal Oruç, whose interest in theater started at the age of 14, when he was studying in the preparatory department of high school, explained that he had a stutter at that time, but he overcame it at the age of 16 after meeting the theater.
“I auditioned, I was not accepted.”
The artist, who watched his first theater play on the occasion of the school theater, stated that he was very impressed and thought, “I wonder if I can do something like this?” and participated in the auditions, but he was not selected in his first attempt. The actress overcame her failure, her fears and her stuttering and soon got her first role.

“I wrote and directed 9 plays only in high school.”
Stating that he hated the old texts taught in literature classes in high school and that he first read The Lord of the Rings and then Ince Mehmet in search of this, the artist said that this was how he started writing and that he wrote and directed nine plays only in high school.
“The biggest problem of an artist is Turkey.”
Stating that in our country, since Ancient Greece, the idea that artists eat stones and only make art has prevailed, the artist explained the difficulties that prevent artists from making money in Turkey.

“If I write for someone else to read, the goal is not to make me angry, but to make them angry.”
Kemal Oruç said, “If a person plans enough and does everything in his/her power, inspiration comes anyway.” He added, “I am a professional writer. If I have to produce something, I write under any circumstances.” Stating that he is not a person who believes that work is done with a lot of emotions, the artist said that he acts more through reason.
