The “Amphitheater Talks” program organized at Trakya University Edirne Technical Sciences Vocational School brought together the 2007 graduates of the Radio and Television Programming Department with the students.
The graduates, who work in various fields of the media sector, shared their career journeys, professional experiences, and memories from their student years.

The guests, who have been successfully working in many areas from production to directing, journalism to screenwriting, editing to post-production, emphasized that the education they received at Trakya University formed a strong foundation for their professional lives. The graduates stated that the Radio and Television Programming Department provided a solid start to the sector and that friendship and solidarity are the most important keys to permanence in the profession.
During the talk, important messages were given about the digital transformation in the media world, new generation content production, the importance of professional organizations, and the culture of solidarity. The students also had the opportunity to ask the questions they were curious about during the program, which they followed with great interest.

In the event, which took place in a sincere atmosphere, the graduates offered heartfelt advice to the students preparing to step into the sector.

The program also included School Director Dr. Faculty Member Barış Özkapı and lecturers Güven Çentik and Nur Yılmaz Ercin.

The recent announcement by the Rector of Trakya University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler, that the Radio and Television Programming Department within the Edirne Technical Sciences Vocational School has been abolished by the decision of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), added an emotional meaning to the program.
Both the academic staff and the graduates expressed their sadness at the closure of the department, while stating their belief that the countless successful graduates it has trained over the years will keep this legacy alive.
The participants expressed their wish for the department to be reopened in the coming years.
The event ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and a group photo session.
