Deniz Arcak, known for songs like “Eyvallah,” “Zehir Ettin,” “Vurur,” and “Eller Ağlatır” that left a mark on the 90s and 2000s, is releasing a new emotional song titled “Sesimi Duyan var mı?” on the first anniversary of the devastating Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes, which plunged our country into mourning last year and affected many cities, in memory of the thousands of lives we lost. The proceeds from the song, presented in the form of a lament, will be donated to aid earthquake victims.

Deniz Arcak composed the song himself, and the lyrics were co-written with his students Arzu Taşçıoğlu, İnci Coşkun, and Beril Alakoç. The arrangement was done by the master musician Akın Eldes. Speaking about the song, Deniz Arcak said, “The earthquake profoundly affected all of us, including me. During that period, everyone tried to heal the wounds by doing their best to help. However, as time passed, the intensity of these efforts decreased. So, as the first anniversary of this disaster approached, we wanted to express our feelings and contribute to the increase of aid again. Hopefully, our contribution will make a difference to someone.” The song also has a powerful music video directed by Eyüp Boz.
