Due to the World Autism Awareness Day, Nevşehir Special Education Kindergarten organized an Autism Awareness Festival on the grass field no. 3 in the Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate complex.

Nevşehir Governor İnci Sezer Becel, Mayor Dr. The festival, attended by Mehmet Savran, Director of National Education Memet Polat and Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Muhsin Özdemir, started with an autism awareness march with children with autism and their families.

After the walk, children with autism had fun with their families in the playgrounds prepared for them.

Emphasizing that raising awareness about autism and finding solutions to autism-related problems is a common issue for all of us as a society, Mayor Dr. Mehmet Savran, “Autism is a difference, not a deficiency. We should learn these differences of our children with autism and embrace them with love and with this different awareness. It should be known that it is one of the main duties of us adults that all our children can exist in social life in a healthy way and in harmony.

Thanking the families who dedicate their lives to their children with autism, Savran emphasized that as Nevşehir Municipality, they will continue to provide all kinds of support, especially education, in order to support children with autism.
