Applications for the Most Beautiful Garden, Balcony and Terrace Competition, which will be held for the 6th time this year by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, start on Monday, April 3rd. The deadline for the competition, which will be held with the slogan “We Beautify Our Environment Together”, is May 18, 2023.

In Antalya, in order to increase the green tissue, citizens’ interest in the environment and environmental awareness, to beautify the environment, to create urban spaces with high visual quality, to increase the interest of the society in flowers and other ornamental plants, to create living spaces integrated with sustainable green and to draw attention to the water shortage caused by climatic changes. The 6th Most Beautiful Garden, Balcony and Terrace Contest, which was held, covers the districts of Muratpaşa, Kepez, Konyaaltı, Döşemealtı and Aksu. Applications for the competition will be made by hand delivery to Antalya Metropolitan Municipality or via the website between April 3 and May 18.

198 thousand TL AWARD IN 9 CATEGORIES

In the 6th Most Beautiful Garden, Balcony and Terrace Competition, the most beautiful balcony (open balcony, closed balcony), the most beautiful garden (residence garden, apartment garden, site garden, workplace garden, hobby garden, xeric landscape application garden) and Awards will be given in 9 categories, including the most beautiful terrace. A total of 198 thousand TL cash prizes will be distributed, with 10 thousand TL for the winners of each category, 7 thousand TL for the runners-up, and 5 thousand TL for the third place.

RESULTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON 5 JUNE

The selection committee of the competition this year Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Akdeniz University, TMMOB Chamber of Landscape Architects, TMMOB Chamber of Agricultural Engineers, Antalya Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, Antalya Chamber of Craftsmen and Craftsmen, Antalya City Council, Antalya Ornamental Plants and Products Exporters Union and ANTEPE Construction and Industry. It consists of the representatives of Ticaret A.Ş. After the evaluation of the Selection Committee between May 22 and June 2, the results will be announced on June 5 and the awards will be given to their owners with a ceremony to be held in June.
