In agriculture-PPI (2015=100), in February 2023, it is 6.58% compared to the previous month, 18.40% compared to December of the previous year, 127.56% according to the same month of the previous year and twelve-month averages. Compared to the previous year, there was an increase of 142.90%.

Compared to the previous month, there was a 6.41% increase in agricultural and hunting products and related services, a 10.68% increase in fish and other fishery products, and a 10.91% increase in forestry products and related services. Compared to the previous month, perennial plant products decreased by 0.95%, livestock and animal products increased by 6.32%, and annual plant products increased by 10.80% in the main groups.

According to the annual Agri-PPI, 5 subgroups showed lower changes and 6 subgroups showed higher changes.

The subgroups with low annual increase were fibrous plants with 32.64% and cereals (excluding rice), legumes and oilseeds with 84.67%, respectively. On the other hand, the subgroups with the highest annual increase were citrus fruits with 213.84% and oily fruits with 188.83%, respectively.

According to the monthly Agri-PPI, 8 subgroups showed lower changes and 3 subgroups showed higher changes.

The subgroups, which showed a decrease compared to the previous month, were citrus fruits with 2.70% and paddy with 2.04%, respectively. On the other hand, the subgroups with the highest monthly increase were vegetables and melon-watermelon, roots and tubers with 24.09% and oily fruits with 7.52%.

In February 2023, out of 86 items included in the index, the average price of 14 items decreased and the average price of 68 items increased.
