Arthan Gallery is bringing together two solo exhibitions simultaneously for the first time. Curated by Nuray Özler, this special exhibition program brings together two artists working in different disciplines in the same venue, presenting two powerful narratives centered on perception, body, and transformation.
Pınar Yahşi’s photography exhibition “YOL” (THE WAY) and Şükriye Karaçay’s exhibition “HAYALCİ HÜCRE” (DREAMER CELL), consisting of glass and lead sculptures, will meet with viewers at Arthan Gallery from January 15–31, 2026.

Pınar Yahşi’s exhibition “YOL” consists of photographs focusing on the state of being on the journey rather than the destination. This visual narrative, recorded during a six-day Camino de Santiago pilgrimage walk, makes visible repetitions, silent transitions, and moments that take time to notice, instead of grand narratives. The symbols and signs encountered along the way construct the invisible language of the walk, while the path gains new meanings as the light changes. These symbols create a field of visual memory that evokes direction, stopping, continuing, and remembering.

Şükriye Karaçay’s exhibition titled “HAYALCİ HÜCRE” focuses on the intuitive relationship between fragility and transformation through her production practice with glass and lead. While the fragile yet reshapeable nature of glass reveals the delicate and resilient states of existence, the connection established with organic materials expresses the continuously transforming cycle of life. The exhibition, structured around the caterpillar–cocoon–butterfly cycle, offers a space for internal evolution rather than a linear narrative of development. The cocoon, which may appear as a pause from the outside, contains a silent and intense transformation process within. Dreamer Cell invites the viewer to move beyond being a passive witness, to establish an emotional connection with transformation, and to become part of the process.
