A formal holiday program was organized in Kemer on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram.

Kemer Governor Hüseyin Çam, Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, Kemer Gendarmerie Commander Ramazan Ergel, Kemer Police Chief Harun Mere, Kemer Coast Guard Commander Alper Aydın, political party representatives, Kemer Municipality Council members Mustafa Tıraş, Recep Yılmaz, Mustafa Bilici, Semih Özdemir, Hakan Tuncer, representatives of public institutions and organizations, civil society organizations and neighborhood heads attended the holiday program that started at Kemer Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Practice Hotel.

Governor Çam, who congratulated the Ramadan Bayram of the delegation attending the program, also wished for a good tourism season.

Governor Çam, Mayor Topaloğlu, and those accompanying them later visited the Kemer Police Station and then the District Gendarmerie Command to celebrate the holiday with the police and gendarmerie personnel.

Kaymakam Çam, Mayor Topaloğlu, and those accompanying them also visited Kemer State Hospital, congratulating the patients for the holiday and wishing them well.

After the holiday program, Governor Çam said that they had a beautiful Ramadan month, but they had a somber holiday due to the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, centered in Kahramanmaraş and affecting 11 provinces.

Governor Çam, who emphasized that the earthquakes deeply affected everyone, said, “Everyone showed their contribution in the process after the earthquakes. I thank everyone who supported the aid and hosting of earthquake victims in our district. I congratulate all Kemer residents and their families on Ramadan Bayram.”

Mayor Topaloğlu also congratulated the entire Islamic world on Ramadan Bayram, saying, “Holidays are the days when reconciliation takes place. We are happy to have another holiday after the blessed Ramadan month. I congratulate everyone’s holiday and wish everyone a happy, peaceful, and healthy holiday with their families.”
