Nivogo and ebebek Join Forces with the ‘From Me to My Sister Transformation Basket’ Project for Babies in the Earthquake Zone

Turkey’s Pioneering Circular Economy Initiative, Nivogo and ebebek, launched the ‘From Me to My Sister Transformation Basket’ project to meet the needs of babies in earthquake-affected provinces in a sustainable way. Within the scope of the project, baby textiles and toys will be collected in the recycling baskets set up in all of ebebek’s stores on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul in the first place, and will be delivered to those in need in the earthquake region with the coordination of official institutions, especially AFAD and Basic Needs Association (TİDER).

In addition to the initial support of Turkey’s Pioneering Circular Economy Initiative Nivogo and ebebek, with the awareness that sustainable solutions are needed to meet the needs in the earthquake zone in the medium and long term, the ‘Transformation Basket from Me to My Brother’ project, which was initiated by ebebek, in the first place, Istanbul Anadolu Transformation baskets were set up in all stores (25 units) in Yakası.

The contributions of those who want to support baby textiles and toys that have been used for a very short time or not used at all due to baby development stages to the earthquake zone will be collected in transformation baskets, regardless of brand. The collected products will be renewed by going through 100 percent hygiene stages in the cleaning workshops established with ebebek expertise and Nivogo technology. After going through the quality control process, it will be divided into more than 100 categories, especially age and gender, within the needs of the region, and packaged with Nivogo technology. The packaged products will be delivered to the people in need who have been confirmed in the earthquake zone with the coordination of official institutions, especially AFAD and Basic Needs Association (TİDER).

It will provide togetherness instead of individuality in aids.

Thanks to the project, in which products are collected and delivered to the region under the coordination of institutions, with Nivogo technology and ebebek expertise, the right products will be brought together with babies who are confirmed to be in need. The ‘From Me to My Brother’ project, which consists of sorting, washing, drying, ironing, labeling, packaging and boxing stages, will help to establish a great unity in solidarity instead of individual action.
