The Zen Leadership Camp organized by Nar Education and Consultancy Center in Narköy, nestled in the embrace of Mother Nature, took place from July 13-15 with the participation of 17 executives from various sectors.

During the 3 full days of the camp, participants embarked on an experiential leadership journey inspired by Eastern philosophy and nature.

As an education-focused center resembling a contemporary farm and hotel concept, Narköy is situated in a lush valley within the forest overlooking the Black Sea coast of Kandıra, Kocaeli. From July 13-15, it hosted 17 executives from various sectors.

Enriching their leadership skills with the philosophy of Aikido

Inspired by nature and the philosophy of Aikido, designed by Ozan Kuşçu, General Manager of Nar Education and Consultancy Center, the Zen Leadership Camp allowed participants to explore Zen philosophy, samurai teachings, and the state of Zen, integrating them with Aikido principles and techniques to transform their own leadership practices. The camp featured unconventional elements such as sunrise meditation, silent night walks, and abundant use of humor and music, along with experiential learning processes, evening sessions, and fireside chats.

Throughout the camp, participants nourished their minds and souls with all these refined insights and also had the chance to experience the fresh, organic flavors of Narköy Farm. Seasonal vegetables and fruits, grown from heirloom seeds using traditional, pesticide-free farming techniques, along with dairy products and eggs from happy farm animals, were prepared by Chef Yahya Akay, offering a culinary delight at every meal for the camp participants.
