The movie “Zaferin Rengi,” which is set to be released on February 16th and is expected to be among the most ambitious films of the season, pays a special tribute to the history of Fenerbahçe. The film reconstructs locations that witnessed Fenerbahçe’s history by rebuilding them authentically to revive the magnificent memories of the past.
The producers of the film, ANS Production and Universal Productions, stated that a team of fifty artists and technical staff worked intensively for five months to rebuild three special locations where the main story of the film takes place, faithful to their originals. On a 20,000 square meter area in the Kocaeli Seka Film Studio, Papazın Çayırı, Topçu Kışlası/Taksim Stadium, Kuşdili Lokali/Fenerbahçe Club Building, and Gülistan Gazinosu were reconstructed from scratch in accordance with their original designs.
The Film Revives the Grandeur of Historical Locations:
The film “Zaferin Rengi” sheds light on Fenerbahçe’s history by tracing the footsteps of the past. The movie presents images of the three locations that have witnessed the history of the era and carry special meanings for Fenerbahçe, faithfully reconstructed to their original forms. Among these locations are “Kuşdili Lokali – Fenerbahçe Club Building,” which served as the “Club Building” for Fenerbahçe from 1914 to 1932, Papazın Çayırı, and Taksim Stadium.
The History of Three Special Locations in Their Old and New Forms:
Kuşdili Lokali-Fenerbahçe Club Building: Kuşdili Lokali began serving as the “Club Building” for Fenerbahçe on May 3, 1918. Unfortunately, this venue, which served Fenerbahçe between 1914 and 1932, fell victim to a horrific fire disaster on June 5-6, 1932.
Papazın Çayırı: Papazın Çayırı, later known as Union Club, İttihat Spor Meydanı, and the area where Fenerbahçe Stadium is located today.
Taksim Stadium: Hosting a historic sports match carrying the color of victory, Taksim Stadium was used in 1922 to transport Fenerbahçe’s victory from one side of Istanbul to the other. The stadium has hosted various events, from boxing matches in the ring set up in the courtyard to tug-of-war competitions and bicycle races on the athletics track.

Directed by Abdullah Oğuz, the film features Kubilay Aka in the lead role as Galip Bey, the founding member and legendary captain of Fenerbahçe. “Zaferin Rengi,” which will shed light on the history of Fenerbahçe, will bring to the big screen a breathtaking story of unique friendships, extraordinary love, and a historic sports match. The cast of the film includes strong names such as Nejat İşler, Timuçin Esen, Yiğit Özşener, Gonca Vuslateri, and Birce Akalay.
