On the last day of the 2023 Spor Toto Youth Turkey Judo Championship held in the Sports City Kocaeli, 56 medalists found their winners.
The 2023 Spor Toto Youth Turkey Judo Championship, hosted by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and organized in cooperation with the Turkish Judo Federation and the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, came to an end. 759 athletes, trainers, referees and club managers, including 338 women and 421 men, from 56 provinces participated in the championship.
DAY 1 KOCAELİ RANKS FIRST WITH 4 GOLD TOTAL 13 MEDALS
Spor Toto Youth Turkey Judo Championship, organized by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department Sports Branch Directorate, was completed. On the first day of the championship held at the Martyr Recep Topaloğlu Sports Hall, before the start of the competitions, a moment of silence was held for those who lost their lives in the disaster of the century in 11 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş. Konya took the second place with 2 gold, one silver and 2 bronze, Manisa third; He won one gold, two silver and two bronze medals.

At the end of the two-day competitions in the Sports City Kocaeli, in the province ranking; While Kocaeli won 5 gold, one silver and 9 bronze medals, Istanbul came second with 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals, Manisa came third with 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals. On the other hand, the Judo storm will continue to blow in the Sports City Kocaeli. After the Youth Turkey Championship, the Senior Turkey competitions will also be held at the Martyr Recep Topaloğlu Sports Hall. On the other hand, 218 female and 346 male judo players from 42 provinces applied for the 2023 Spor Toto Seniors Turkey Judo Championship, which will be held on March 15-16.
