Lüleburgaz Municipality has implemented important investments in order to use drinking water resources effectively and saving. Renewed drinking water lines and pilot application distributed to subscribers with smart water meters and water leakage and cuts were largely prevented. In addition, drinking water wells and warehouses are followed for 24 hours with the automation system and are instantly in a possible failure.

In this respect, Lüleburgaz Municipality, which has implemented a large number of environmental investments from drinking water lines to irrigation systems, informs the citizens about the use of water with the activities it performs.
New drinking water of about 20 km!
Lüleburgaz Municipality has renewed the drinking water line, which has filled its physical life, which is about 20 km long in the city in the last 3 years. However, Lüleburgaz Municipality, which renewed the main drinking water line that provides water flow to the city, minimized water cuts thanks to these studies. With the decrease in water cuts, water leakage decreased, while an important step was taken in water saving. In addition, the drinking water wells and warehouses in the city are followed by an automation system 24 hours a day and a possible failure is intervened instantly.
4 thousand 500 smart meters!
Lüleburgaz Municipality, which does not only renew the drinking water line in water saving, has implemented the smart water meter application initiated as a pilot application in 4 thousand 500 households. Thanks to the application, citizens can see their water use instantly, but notifications from the water meters that are completely digital can be followed by the teams. In this way, excessive water consumption in any smart water meter is instantly detected and the teams have the opportunity to intervene quickly and effectively.
Savable apparatus to public institutions!
Lüleburgaz Municipality, which continues its efforts to spread water savings to all segments, placed a perlator in the taps in all public institutions in the city. Thanks to the savings apparatus, water saving between 30 and 50 percent started to be saved. On the other hand, Lüleburgaz Municipality distributed tap perlators to citizens at various activities throughout the year, including World Environment Day. In this way, it is aimed to create awareness of water saving in society.
70 percent savings with automatic irrigation!
In addition to all these, Lüleburgaz Municipality moved to the automatic irrigation system in various regions of the city in green areas. Thanks to this system, wild irrigation was abandoned and excessive water consumption was prevented. With the automatic irrigation system, saving up to 70 percent was achieved.
