Çankaya Municipality visited the children living in tent and container cities in Hatay before the Ramadan Feast and National Sovereignty and Children’s Day on April 23rd. In addition to books, toys, and candy gifts, basic necessities were also distributed to the children.
Before the holiday, Çankaya Municipality visited tent and container cities in Hatay. The teams of Çankaya Municipality, who visited the districts of Defne, Subaşı, Samandağ, Dörtyol, and Arsuz in Hatay, made the children happy. The municipality teams, who gave surprise packages containing books, toys, and candy to the children due to the Ramadan Feast and National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, also delivered basic food and hygiene materials.
During their visit to Hatay, Çankaya Municipality teams also distributed food and hygiene packages at 18 different locations, making the children happy before the holiday. The municipality teams, who gave Turkish flags and colorful balls as gifts for National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, tried to keep the excitement of April 23rd alive by accompanying the children’s games, despite the pain experienced. The children, who welcomed the team with enthusiasm, were happy to be able to escape from the disaster environment and be happy even for a moment.
