President Engin, who came together with the residents of the nursing home in the campus, where there are about 1000 wise plane trees aged 60 and over, took care of the great plane trees one by one and instructed the authorities to fulfill their demands and suggestions. President Engin, who also met with Narlıdere Nursing Home Director Recep Yağcıoğlu and Zübeyde Hanım Nursing Home Director Sevda Özen, said that they owe their gratitude to the wise plane trees who instilled our culture and values in us.

President Engin stated that the number of people aged 65 and over will constitute 22 percent of the world’s population in 2050, and said, “According to TURKSTAT figures, the elderly population in our country increased by 19.57 percent in the 2017-2021 period. For this reason, as a country, we need to give more importance to elderly health planning and elderly care services.
