UiPath, Inc. (NYSE: PATH), a leading provider of agentic automation and AI software, convened business leaders in Istanbul to discuss the future of AI-powered automation. Bringing together over 500 decision-makers from Turkey’s technology, finance, manufacturing, and public sectors, the UiPath Agentic Automation Summit examined Agentic Automation technology, the most advanced stage of AI-powered automation, and highlighted new business models where humans, robots, and AI agents collaborate. At the event, pioneering companies such as Turkish Airlines, SunExpress, and LC Waikiki shared the business results they achieved using Agentic Automation technology. Participants also observed through demo presentations how Agentic Automation differs from classic Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems, integrates into decision-making processes, and ensures compatibility with existing systems.
Humans, Software Robots, and AI in the Same System
The Agentic Automation technologies at the heart of the event integrate advanced process automation with real-time data intelligence, increasing scalability and elevating organizations’ efficiency to a new level. By bringing together humans, software robots, and autonomous AI agents within the same system to automate multi-layered workflows, these technologies digitize not only tasks but also decision-making processes. Through this infrastructure, the UiPath platform enables software agents, equipped with technologies like advanced AI and machine learning, to make contextual decisions. This brings consistency, reliability, and transformative impact to processes. Additionally, it provides an end-to-end environment for organizations to develop, test, and deploy their own agents at an enterprise scale. It ensures consistency in processes while also guaranteeing robust governance mechanisms.

“Agent-Based Technologies Will Revolutionize Manufacturing, Healthcare, Finance, and Public Services”
UiPath CEO Daniel Dines commented on the subject: “When we founded UiPath, we had a vision: to make technology invisible so people can focus on more creative, more productive work. Today, this vision is taking shape with Agentic Automation. Turkey has become one of the most important countries shaping this vision. Since opening our Turkey office in 2018, the projects we’ve executed with highly successful pioneering companies like Şişecam, Beko, Enerjisa, and Eureko Sigorta have not only enabled their digital transformation but also turned into success stories cited as examples on the global stage. Turkey is not just a market; it has become a hub where innovative projects, bold visions, and advanced technology applications come to life. The agent-based technologies we introduced here today will revolutionize every field, from manufacturing to healthcare, finance to public services. For now, we talk about ‘AI-powered’ CRM or automation systems. But just as we no longer need to specify that a device runs on electricity, AI will very soon become a natural part of systems.”
Dines also added: “Turkey’s young population, rapid adaptation to technology, and solution-oriented business culture position it prominently in the AI revolution. Today, you have a younger demographic compared to many European countries. However, growing human resources in strategic fields like software and engineering is critical. If Turkey closes this gap, it could be a pioneer in this new era shaped by agentic AI.”
“Thanks to AI, Turkey’s Workforce Can Become More Competent and Competitive”
Another topic addressed at the Agentic Automation Summit, which featured senior representatives from leading Turkish institutions such as Halk Bank, Türkiye Sigorta, Turkish Technology, LC Waikiki, Vakıf Katılım, IGA, and Sanko, was the impact of AI technologies on Turkey’s labor market and the potential of Turkish companies for international competitiveness.
UiPath Turkey General Manager Tuğrul Cora stated: “We have very competent engineers and software developers in Turkey, but when compared to European countries, the ratio of software developers to the population is still low. More than half of our workforce is employed in low-skilled jobs. Transforming this picture requires scaling digital solutions and integrating AI and automation into corporate culture to make the workforce more productive and competent. Agentic automation and AI software should be seen not only as a technological leap but also as a transformation tool that allows us to redefine our talent management strategies. Thanks to Agentic Automation technologies, today we are talking about AI that not only performs tasks but also takes initiative, acts, makes decisions, and runs processes. According to Gartner, by 2028, 15% of decisions made in companies will be made by AI agents. Every organization wanting to gain competitiveness in the digital economy shaped by all these developments must be part of this transformation. As UiPath, we operate to accelerate this transformation together with Turkey’s leading, highly valuable institutions. We thank all our stakeholders and all technology and innovation enthusiasts who attended the summit today.”
