Following the morning session at the Atatürk Cultural Center, the B2B Workshop event held at the Istanbul Pullman Hotel & Convention Center brought together business representatives. Mr. Hüseyin Kırk, the President of Kırkzade Travel, highlighted the contributions of Arab tourists to Turkey in his opening speech, anticipating that these collaborations would further strengthen in the coming years.
Center of Attraction with Gastronomy and Health Tourism: Turkey
Speeches addressing developments in gastronomic and health tourism in Turkey highlighted the efforts of the Gastronomy Tourism Association (GTD), attracting the interest of tourists. Mr. Emin Çakmak, the President of the Health Tourism Development Council, emphasized Turkey’s leading position in global health tourism, stating that Turkish doctors receive acclaim worldwide.
Pioneering Figures in Tourism Evaluate Turkey
Among the industry leaders speaking at the event were important figures such as Mr. Mehmet Gürkaynak, the Regional Manager of Emirates for Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria, Mr. Mohamed Almutairi, the President of Kuwait Travel Agencies, and Mr. Sultan Alkhaldi, the Director of Saudi Arabia Flynas. They evaluated Turkey’s importance in tourism and the investments made in the region.
