Can we embark on a journey to the boundary where truth and imagination intersect, where human consciousness is at once its most fragile and most powerful? Truth is less a sharp clarity and more an echo, while imagination is not merely an escape but a creative mode of existence.

In Tülin Akkaş’s works, she presents a representation of a boundless world beyond reality—interwoven, contradictory, and at times mutually enriching. The artist moves through reflections of her perceived objective reality within her imagination. She defines her creations as the journey of her inner explorations, freely navigating imaginative realms, opening doors to an escape from reality. This journey is imbued with both the intensity of chaos and the pursuit of tranquility. Each layer reveals a process where the artist confronts her own existence, struggles with dilemmas, and ultimately reaches serenity. Visitors are invited to question their inner reality and step into the colorful chaos of their imagination. The exhibition offers a beacon of hope to those walking this tightrope in their own journeys.

Tülin Akkaş began her artistic journey between 2000 and 2015, receiving training in the studios of prominent artists such as Ekrem Kahraman, Barış Sarıbaş, Turan Aksoy, and Neriman Polat. Her works explore the power of randomness within the scope of abstraction, aiming to establish a profound connection between figures and objects. Her multipart compositions invite viewers on a journey between the delicate balance of chaos and tranquility.

Since 2004, Akkaş has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and her first solo exhibition in 2010 in Istanbul garnered significant attention. From February 6 to February 23, 2025, her fourth solo exhibition, “EŞİKTE” (On the Threshold of Truth and Imagination), will be showcased at Galeri Deniz, offering art enthusiasts a fresh perspective.

Continuing her work in her studio, Tülin Akkaş deepens her artistic journey with a focus on exploration and awareness at the heart of her paintings.
