It is aimed to benefit 5000 entrepreneur women from the “Trade and Technology Power to the Earthquake Zone” program of Hepsiburada

In order to contribute to the establishment of permanent welfare in the earthquake area, Hepsiburada will support 10 thousand SMEs and artisans in the region with technology, trade, logistics and marketing opportunities for two years, and will allocate 50% of these supports to women entrepreneurs. .

Within the scope of the program, Hepsiburada will provide special support for 5 thousand women entrepreneurs and women’s cooperatives, and will provide many services, especially storage, packaging and cargo services, to those who cannot continue their production and supply processes due to the earthquake, among the women’s entrepreneurial women and women’s cooperatives that sell on the platform. With the activities aimed at increasing women’s entrepreneurship in 11 provinces affected by the earthquake, it is aimed that women participate more in commercial and economic life and that half of the shopkeepers and business owners who are supported are women.

As of the end of the 3rd quarter of 2022, the number of entrepreneur women supported by the  Technology Power for Entrepreneurial Women Programme, which Hepsiburada has been running since 2017, has exceeded approximately 38 thousand. In the same period, Hepsiburada, of which 24% of its business partners are women entrepreneurs, continues to support women’s participation in the economy and employment through 184 women’s cooperatives. As part of the program, Hepsiburada mediates the sale of a total of 35 million products, including more than 3200 designs and more than 4200 handcrafted products produced by entrepreneur women.

Hepsiburada, specially for March 8, International Women’s Day, allocates a place to entrepreneur women who continue production and sales in the earthquake zone on the homepage of its platform, and delivers its products to its customers without any commercial purpose.
