Tolga Ünvan was appointed as the Director of Marketing, E-commerce and Corporate Communications at MediaMarkt.

New arrangements were made in the management scheme of the Turkey organization of MediaMarkt, Europe’s number one electronics retailer by far. The responsibility of the Marketing and Corporate Communications Department was transferred to Hulusi Acar, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). Within the scope of the new management scheme changes, Tolga Ünvan was appointed as the Marketing, E-commerce and Corporate Communications Director, which was vacated by Çağanur Atay Uçtu, who was appointed to the Benelux region of the company in the past weeks.

After graduating from the Department of Economics at Koç University, Tolga Ünvan, who received his master’s degree from Yeditepe University, started his professional career in 2002 as an Assistant Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble (P&G). In the next period, Ünvan held various managerial positions at international companies such as Henkel, The Coca Cola Company, and Nestle, and was appointed as the Assistant General Manager of Marketing at Getir in 2019. Tolga Ünvan, who most recently assumed the role of CEO at Zubizu, was appointed as the Marketing, E-commerce and Corporate Communications Director of MediaMarkt Turkey as of 2023.
