Keçiören Municipality Mayor Turgut Altınok presented awards to the winners of the ‘TEKNOMER Rob-School Line Follower Robot Competition,’ organized by Keçiören Municipality Technology Center with a prize pool of 100,000 TL, on May 19th, the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. Altınok hosted the young participants in his office and congratulated each student individually while presenting them with gifts.

Mayor Altınok awarded 4 full gold coins to the AHİRON-BOT-2 team from Yenimahalle Ahi Evran Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, who competed at an “advanced level.” He awarded 4 half gold coins to the AHİRON-BOT-1 team, also from the same school, who came in second place, and presented 4 quarter gold coins to the ROBORİON team from Keçiören Hatice Hikmet Oğultürk Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, who came in third place. Additionally, Altınok gifted a tablet to each school where the students were studying.

Altınok awarded a full gold coin to the KAFKAS team from Mamak Turhan Polat Middle School, who competed at a “basic level” and secured the first place. He presented a half gold coin to the MUCİT KAFA team from Özel Kariyer Elementary School, who came in second place, and awarded a quarter gold coin to the SÜLEYMAN team from Özel Kariyer Middle School, who came in third place. Similar to the previous category, Altınok also gifted a tablet to each school where the students were studying.
