The Rotary District 2420 Federation 2025 Conference was held from May 16-19, 2025, at the Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme. At the conference, attended by approximately 550 participants, all service projects carried out throughout the year by the 85 clubs affiliated with the district were evaluated, and each club was recognized for its services.
Murat Tüzel, a member of the Büyükçekmece Rotary Club, who attended the conference as Vice President, received his term mementos and awards on stage from District Governor İlter Ergürbüz. Mert Kocatepe, a member of the Büyükçekmece Rotary Club and Chairman of the Rotary District 2420 Corporate Communications Committee, also received his term mementos and awards from the district governor after his speech regarding his committee’s international achievements.
This magnificent conference, organized by the Beyoğlu Rotary Club, was made possible by the outstanding success demonstrated by each member of the club. The hotel currently operates between March and November, but it is planned to serve its guests for a longer period after the opening of the 18-hole golf course, scheduled for 2026.
The room I stayed in was very large and spacious. Some rooms have pools at the front, allowing direct access from the room. The beach areas are quite large, and everywhere is lush green and clean. You can get food and beverage service wherever you go, and you experience the advantages of it being a resort.
