Musician Engin Yavuz made a rapid entry into the world of literature with his first short story book published by Epona Kitap on January 26th.

It was known by his close circle that the musician, who has made an impact in the market with his musical works as a guitarist, soloist and arranger, especially in the Rock and Blues genres, with different bands, especially MAT and Enginblues, and as a soloist, is also a literature enthusiast.

Kestestirme, which offers us a selection of short stories that Engin Yavuz has scribbled so far, has attracted great interest from the author’s own circle and those who love to read stories from the very first week of its release.

A graduate of Galatasaray High School, Engin Yavuz holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in Economic Policy.

Yavuz warned us, “Yes, reader, this is Engin. He’s thinking about something, I think he has a notepad in his lap. Engin has something on his mind. Now he’s going to look at you and pretend he remembers something, he’s going to resolve the issue that came to his mind weeks ago and scribble a few words. These scribbles will take you on an external journey and leave you in the middle of an absurd funeral, sometimes they will make you make petty calculations against your irritable lover or displace you for rent. The shortcut opens a subject that we don’t know where it will end up.
