Samsung announced that the sales of the new Galaxy S23 series have increased by 1.5 times compared to the Galaxy S22 series in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The new Galaxy S23 Ultra has received great interest in the MENA region, and the sales of the Galaxy S23 Ultra account for 70% of the Galaxy S23 series sales.
On February 17th, Samsung announced that the new Galaxy S23 series, which was launched globally, had higher sales than the Galaxy S22 series during the same period.
The MENA region, including Turkey, has achieved a large share in premium smartphone sales, reaching 1.5 times the sales graph of the Galaxy S22 series. The strong performance of the new Galaxy S23 series, its unique camera features, and its innovative top-level mobile communication experience have been effective in this success.
The new Galaxy S23 series has become very popular in the local market of India, one of the world’s most densely populated countries, and the sales figure reached 1.4 times that of the Galaxy S22 series during the same period. The sales graph of the Galaxy S23 series in Brazil and Mexico, important markets in Latin America, also reached 1.7 times that of the Galaxy S22. In Korea, sales have recently exceeded 1 million units. Of every 10 Galaxy S23 series smartphones sold worldwide, 6 are Galaxy S23 Ultra, 2 are Galaxy S23+, and the remaining 2 are Galaxy S23. In the MENA region, the Galaxy S23 Ultra receives intense interest, and the sales of the Galaxy S23 Ultra account for 70% of the Galaxy S23 series sales.
During the pre-order period of the Galaxy S23 series in Turkey, sales doubled compared to the previous year.

Samsung is launching the new Galaxy S23 series in 130 countries, including Turkey, Korea, the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and India. The global launch of the Galaxy S23 series will be completed on April 20th, together with the remaining regions of the Middle East and Africa, including Japan.
