The new adventure of Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, who resists the tyranny of the Empire, continues with an amazing sequel game where you can showcase your Jedi abilities.
The long-awaited Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, created in partnership with Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts, and Lucasfilm Games, has finally arrived on screens. The sequel to the highly acclaimed 2019 game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order places Jedi Knight Cal Kestis (portrayed once again by Cameron Monaghan) in the lead role, as he battles new dangers in the galaxy, now more experienced and powerful than in the previous game. The game, developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, offers action-packed gameplay where you can showcase your Jedi skills, a cinematic story, and much deeper exploration than in the previous game.
The game has received great acclaim from critics worldwide, with The Guardian awarding it 5 out of 5 stars and calling it “the best Star Wars game of the last 20 years.” Inverse’s review, which gave the game a score of 9 out of 10, described it as “having everything you could want from a sequel game,” while Game Informer’s rating of 9.25 out of 10 highlighted how the game “perfectly captures the magic of Star Wars.” Rolling Stone praised the game in their review, saying “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor reminds us that Respawn is still a force to be reckoned with in the AAA game space, and that the future of Star Wars games is in good hands.”
Stig Asmussen, game director at Respawn Entertainment, said in his assessment of the game, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor advances the gameplay experience of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in every way,” adding: “As players experience Cal Kestis facing more and more danger in the story, they will have the chance to engage in Jedi battles that make them feel like a real Jedi, with gameplay tailored to their skill level. I couldn’t be prouder of the effort put in by our team at Respawn, and I’m grateful for the collaboration we’ve had with the Lucasfilm Games team in this adventure.”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Our hero, Cal, continues to develop as a Jedi while constantly feeling the Empire’s breath on his neck. Alongside the familiar droid BD-1, who won our hearts in the previous game, Cal reunites with familiar characters such as Cere Junda (Debra Wilson), Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck), and Merrin (Tina Ivlev), and attempts to resist both the Empire and other dangerous forces in the galaxy, with the help of new allies such as Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal). To succeed in this difficult struggle, players will learn new Jedi skills, become proficient with their lightsaber, and work to find different ways to travel to the many different planets.”
Vince Zampella, founder and CEO of Respawn Entertainment, said, “Stig and his team have created an exceptional second chapter in the Star Wars Jedi series with Survivor, which expands the scope and scale of the game in every way imaginable. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor showcases the incredible universe of the Star Wars series, combined with exciting gameplay, in all its glory.”
Douglas Reilly, Vice President of Lucasfilm Games, said about the new game, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a unique action-adventure game that combines the excitement of being a Jedi with cinematic action scenes, bringing together incredible stories, characters, and planets from the Star Wars galaxy with players. This sequel is proof of Respawn’s love and passion for the Star Wars series, and we are very proud to collaborate with them to offer such a breathtaking experience.”
Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is currently available for retail and digital purchase on PC through the EA App, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 for 1,119 TL.
