The Mediterranean Tourism Forum, hosted in Malta, emerged as a significant platform addressing the future of the tourism sector and innovative approaches. The event brought together over 50 speakers from more than 30 countries, uniting industry leaders and providing participants with a broad perspective.
Among the notable speakers at the forum were Bilal Ekşi, CEO of Turkish Airlines; Andreas Scriven from Deloitte Hospitality & Leisure; Renowned Chef Gino D’Acampo; Former President of Slovenia HE Borut Pahor; and Carlo Micallef, CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority. These figures evaluated recent developments in tourism and discussed innovations in the sector.
The event, enriched by the participation of Gürkan Boztepe, President of the Gastronomy Tourism Association, stood out for introducing Turkish cuisine in Malta and contributing to cultural exchange. Boztepe’s discussion on gastronomy tourism with the famous chef Ebru Baybara Demir was considered a significant step in supporting developments in the industry.
