The Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to bring prestigious avenues to the Körfez district. After completing the infrastructure of Akşemsettin and Cumhuriyet Boulevard, the Metropolitan Municipality is now continuing its work on the concrete sidewalk construction on Eşref Bitlis Street, located on the southern side road of Körfez.

By placing the electrical medium voltage line underground, Eşref Bitlis Street has gained an aesthetic appearance. The construction of concrete sidewalks continues from Eşref Bitlis Street to Tuğrul Street. The Metropolitan Municipality will enhance the visual appeal by adorning the 2,200-meter stretch from Eşref Bitlis Street to Akşemsettin Street with decorative lighting poles. The streets of Körfez will be vibrant and comfortable, providing a safe environment for pedestrians and vehicles.
