The Albayrak Group marked its 11th year of supporting Islamic calligraphy art with a grand opening of the Âdil-i Mutlak exhibition at Tophane-i Âmire. Having dedicated over a decade to promoting calligraphy through exhibitions and calendar projects, the Group embarked on its 2025 program with the Âdil-i Mutlak Calligraphy Artworks Exhibition. The exhibition featured works by thirteen master calligraphers depicting verses on justice, complemented by illuminated manuscripts and new pieces from Savaş Çevik’s “Calligraphy, Cubism, and New Designs” series. Innovative installation art and digital works were also presented to art enthusiasts, while prominent figures from public and private institutions attended the opening ceremony.
Since 2014, the Albayrak Group has pursued its journey in calligraphy without interruption, celebrating its 11th year with the Âdil-i Mutlak theme. The exhibition, held on January 8 at Tophane-i Âmire, was attended by Süleyman Soylu, AK Party Member of Parliament for Istanbul; members of the Albayrak Group Board of Directors; Dr. Nurettin Canikli, Vice Chairman of the Albayrak Group Board; Istanbul Deputy Governor Cengiz Karabulut; Hüseyin Keskin, Head of Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism; and Selim Terzi, General Director of Living Heritage and Cultural Events.

Great Interest in the Opening of Âdil-i Mutlak Calligraphy Exhibition
The opening of the Âdil-i Mutlak exhibition at Tophane-i Âmire concluded with the atmosphere of an artistic evening. The event featured 13 calligraphy pieces with themes of justice, 12 illuminated artworks, and an installation. Additionally, the kinetic artwork Döngü and the digital piece Kaleidoscope drew significant attention from visitors.
What Awaits Visitors at the Exhibition?
Art enthusiasts interested in calligraphy, illumination, and digital art can visit the exhibition between January 9 and January 27, where many pieces will be unveiled for the first time. Albayrak Group’s Corporate Communications Coordinator, Esad Sivri, addressed visitors’ questions about the exhibition:

- 13 works by master calligraphers depicting Quranic verses on the theme of justice,
- 12 illuminated pieces by esteemed artists,
- New works by Savaş Çevik titled Calligraphy, Cubism, and New Designs,
- An installation by Savaş Çevik inspired by the command Say: My Lord has commanded justice,
- And various digital artworks.

Tophane-i Âmire to Be Dedicated to Traditional Arts for a Month
During the opening program of the Âdil-i Mutlak Calligraphy Artworks Exhibition on January 8, it was announced that Tophane-i Âmire would host visitors throughout January. From January 9 to January 27, between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, a series of events and workshops will offer a month fully devoted to traditional arts.
