A Painting Auction for Children was held at İstinyePark on 25-26 March. All proceeds of the 10 works offered for sale at the auction were donated to the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) in order to contribute to the education of earthquake victims.
The “Private Painting Auction for Children” held in İstinyePark on 25-26 March to bring children together with art attracted great attention. Proceeds from 10 works put up for sale in the auction conducted under the direction of Yuliya Ergene and Rahmi Çöğendez from Silent Auction, were donated to the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) with the support of Rahmi Çöğendez, one of the donors of the TEV Ankara Branch, with the aim of contributing to the education of earthquake survivors and making their education sustainable.
Paintings by artists Hikmet Çetinkaya, Serap Demirdağ, Sait Günel, Suna Özkalan, Remzi Taşkıran, Spyros Georgas, Pervin Karslı, Saadet Gözde, Yuliya Ergene and Yavuz Bozkurt were put up for auction to support TEV.
Thanking Silent Auction, Rahmi Çöğendez and İstinyePark, TEV General Manager Banu Taşkın said, “We are working together to heal the wounds of the earthquake disaster that stunned the whole of Turkey. As TEV, we strive to support our youth with all our efforts so that their education and dreams are not interrupted and they can look to the future with hope. There were 304,700 university students in the affected areas. Now they need us to continue their education. With the income from this auction, we will touch the lives of our young people and we will be hope for them.”
