Opening its doors in July in Yeldeğirmeni, the ecosySTEM Education Center stands out with its unique approach aimed at raising environmentally conscious individuals. The center will be introduced for the first time at the Kadıköy Environmental Festival, taking place from May 31 to June 1, 2025.
Located at booth D5 in Göztepe Özgürlük Park, ecosySTEM will welcome visitors with hands-on workshops that both entertain and educate children. This booth is not just a promotional space—it’s an interactive learning area designed to increase children’s environmental awareness.
Where STEM, Nature, and Fun Intersect
Led by IDEA Universal and supported by the European Union’s Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Program, the ecosySTEM Project offers children aged 8 to 15 a vision of a nature-friendly future. At the center, kids will learn the importance of recycling through experience and discover vertical farming systems and aquaponic technologies. By combining renewable energy sources with sustainable living practices, the center provides tangible solutions to inspire young minds.

Journey to the Future with Virtual Reality and Robotics Experiences
At the festival booth, children will step into the fascinating world of STEM through virtual reality (VR) headsets. Thanks to interactive robotics games, they will gain basic coding and engineering skills while enjoying the fun of learning. Plus, pre-registration for interested young learners will be open throughout the festival.
“Meeting Tomorrow’s Eco-Leaders”
The motto of ecosySTEM Education Center is more than just a slogan—it reflects a strong vision to instill environmental responsibility in children from an early age. The center’s education programs will be hands-on, inclusive, and inspiring, led by expert instructors.
