The Karatay University Health, Culture, and Sports Activities Directorate Career Development and Alumni Relations Office, affiliated with the Konya Chamber of Commerce, is organizing the eighth career summit with different themes every year on May 09-10, 2023. This year’s summit, titled “Parachute: Social Development and Employment Summit,” will be held on digital platforms.

KTO Karatay University, which focuses on the importance of 21st-century competencies such as originality, diversity, innovative thinking, and sophisticated skills analysis in education, is striving to prepare its students and alumni for a “career toolkit” that includes a parachute during both the education period and after graduation through a two-day career simulation.

KTO Karatay students and alumni will have the opportunity to communicate with public and private sector representatives and attend presentations by successful professionals in the field at the summit. They will be provided with valuable information on social development and employment issues. KTO Karatay members will gain a closer understanding of the business world, learn about current developments in the industry directly from industry representatives, and have the opportunity to find internships or job opportunities.

This year’s career summit, which is organized with the theme of “Social Development and Employment,” will host important guests. Rana Hoffman, the Koç Holding Deputy Chief Legal and Compliance Advisor, Koç Finance In-house Counsel and Mediator Burçin Narmış, Huawei DCEO Coordinator İbrahim Cihat Kırkpınar, MAN Turkey Human Resources Director Mustafa İskifoğlu, Yapı Kredi Bank Legal Director Güven Kahraman, Treasury and Finance Ministry Tax Chief Auditor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Göktuğ Kaya, and many other successful professionals will share their experiences with KTO Karatay students.
