Tuğba Özay started her words by pointing out the violence against animals on the cat sitting on her lap during the conversation: “It is necessary to have good relationships with animals, not to persecute them, not to torture them, and in a period when violence has reached such a high level, the fact that the cat chose me, that it came to my lap and found that peace in an instant made me very happy. So this is actually an honor for us. Because children and animals feel whatever is positive, whatever is good.” and started with a social message.

Stating that she is thinking of returning to TV series, Özay, while giving the green light to television, said about today’s television market: “At least I wish I was on the sets again when I was young and beautiful. But even that always revolves around the same things. People are actually bored of this, people want to see us, but it is monopolized by someone right now. I hope it will be destroyed and broken in this process. Because the cake is big, there should be a share for everyone.”

“I started writing theater plays at the age of 7.”

Stating that her talents are innate, Tuğba Özay said, “I learned to read and write on my own at the age of 4. I did not read the first grade, I started directly from the second grade. I was in the second grade at the age of 6. At the age of 7, I started theater at the Kadıköy Public Education Center Trial Stage. In the third grade of primary school, I started writing scripts and theater plays. My theater studies continued until I was 14.”

Tuğba Özay, who underlined the importance of integrating with the public and society and being in communication during our conversation with her, said, “In Anatolia, everyone would do their openings with me, I don’t know, fashion shows would be with me. In fact, we made them love this profession.”

Tuğba Özay, who had previously published a book of poetry herself, declared that she would also publish a second book and announced her plans for 2024: “I will realize a first in Turkey. I make my father read his poems to my father. We made my father read 11 of his poems with artificial intelligence. Now this project is very valuable to me, I will realize it. And I will compose some of the poems written by my father, I will compose them myself, I hope. It can either be an album or a work of a few songs. Apart from that, I really want to participate in short film competitions. I have a few short film scripts I have written. Plus, I have a brand called Daughter of Nature, which I have also patented, and we have an olive oil brand. I want to improve myself in that field, I am doing a boutique work right now, but maybe I can take myself further in trade.”
