The teams of the İnegöl Municipality Police Department carried out an operation against the people who were begging for money and those who were begging by selling cheap products (handkerchief, band-aid, etc.) who earned unfair income by using the conscience and feelings of the citizens. In the shock operation carried out with civilian clothes, many beggars were caught and their money was confiscated and sent back to the cities they came from after being punished.

The teams affiliated to the İnegöl Municipality Police Department carried out an operation against the beggars who made unjust gains by using the conscience and feelings of our citizens who know their duty to help and lend a hand to the needy. Transactions were made to people who were begging for money or by selling cheap products (handkerchiefs, band-aids, etc.). In order to prevent the beggars, who also use this situation, from exploiting the conscience and feelings of the citizens, due to the month of Ramadan, the police teams, who went down to the field, caught the beggars one by one and took criminal action.

OPERATION WITH CIVIL CLOTHES

The police teams, who declared war on the beggars, went down to the field for this operation. The teams, which determined that a large number of beggars came from different cities in particular, focused on the regions where the most complaints were received in the beggar operation carried out in civilian clothes and where begging is frequently encountered in the determinations made. The beggars, who were found to be begging at the busy spots in the beggar operation, were gathered one by one by the teams. Especially the little children, whom the female beggars carried around to make them feel sorry for themselves, drew attention.

THE MONEY THAT THEY COLLECTED WAS FINALIZED

The beggars who were brought to the Police Department in the central building of Inegol Municipality were penalized in accordance with Article 33 of the Misdemeanor Law No. 5326. Police teams seized the money on the beggars they caught and applied criminal action. Those who came from outside the city were sent back to the cities they came from.

Police teams also warned the people of the district not to respect such people who have made begging a profession by exploiting the feelings of the citizens.
