The Rowing Races of the Seniors Turkey Cup, organized by the Turkish Rowing Federation on 14-16 March in Köyceğiz Lake, have been completed. In the races in which the rowing athletes lost in the earthquake are commemorated, Fenerbahçe won the cup in the Men and Women categories.

7 Clubs and more than 150 athletes competed in the Seniors Turkey Cup, where teams competed in the U19, U23 and Senior categories on the 2000-meter track. After fierce struggles, Fenerbahçe won the cup with 860 points in Men’s and 540 points in Women’s. Galatasaray, on the other hand, took the second place with 746 points in Men’s and 200 points in Women’s.

Adıyaman Youth and Sports Club trainers Uğur Sever and club athletes were also special guests by the Turkish Rowing Federation in the races where Adıyaman Youth and Sports Club athletes Mir Berke Mutlu, Halil İbrahim Elvermez, Mehmet Kadir Özbilgin and Alper Efe Taştaş, who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster, were also commemorated. was hosted.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Turkish Rowing Federation President Erhan Ertürk said, “Unfortunately, we are having a sad race. Even when we talk, our throats get stuck.
