The play tells the story of the years when Paris theaters achieved success thanks to the “applaudisseurs” who mingled with the audience to ensure applause at the right time. The play will meet the audience at the Atlas 1948 Stage on Thursday, February 22nd at 8:00 PM.

Les Applaudisseurs:
The famous Chief Applaudisseur Auguste Levasseur is abandoned by his applauding team two hours before the opening night of the musical tragedy “The Adventure of the Fish Eagle”. With the inexperienced applauders found by his assistant Dugommier from here and there, they are forced to rehearse two hours before the premiere of the grand production consisting of five acts and forty scene changes. Amidst the chaos, intensified by the participation of Dugommier’s musician sister Fauvette, they are in a frenzy to salvage the applause arrangement for the evening performance. The comical situations they find themselves in, as they strive to ensure that the three people on stage will be applauded by the applauders at all costs, turn into a musical and humorous adventure with the participation of the audience. “You know what they say; impossible is not in our vocabulary.”
