Biriz Solidarity Association Initiates Summer Schools and Workshop Activities for Earthquake Survivors
Established on February 6th to provide support to individuals in the earthquake-stricken areas affecting 11 provinces, Biriz Solidarity Association is organizing summer schools and workshop activities with expert trainers to address the mental and emotional needs of earthquake survivors.
In order to heal the wounds of the devastating earthquake on February 6th and to provide assistance to citizens affected by the earthquake, Biriz Solidarity Association was founded with the goal of overcoming challenging days together.

With the support of BorSanat under Bor Holding, the association has launched summer schools and workshop activities for children, youth, and adults affected by the earthquake. With the participation of volunteer teachers, Hatay Samandağ Ekin College started a series of activities in July, continuing until autumn, aimed at alleviating the impact of the devastation and supporting earthquake survivors in having a psychologically happier process.
Biriz Solidarity Association’s efforts began with the Movement and Body Awareness Workshop for adults at Hatay Samandağ Ekin College, followed by the same workshop for students. In collaboration with volunteers including expert teachers, psychologists, physiotherapists, and nurses, the association offers a wide range of valuable training, from Movement and Body Awareness Workshops to Creative Drama and Acting Workshops, Mud Magic Workshops to Virtual Reality Workshops, Telescope Observation Workshops to Model Making Workshops. These workshops aim to foster unity among children, youth, and adults in facing the psychological effects of the earthquake and to enhance their abilities to express themselves, focus, and problem-solve through sustainable projects. The movement methods and kinesthetic games support body-mind-energy synchronization, unleash creativity, and aid self-expression.
