The teams, together with the municipality’s law enforcement officers, inspected the bread and pita production and sales points in Bayrampaşa and carried out detailed hygiene checks. In the inspections; the health examination cards of the workers in the bakeries, work clothes, the vessels and areas where the dough is made and stored, the drinkability of the water used in production, the weight of bread and pita, the presence of pets, measures taken against harmful creatures, hair and beard checks of the workers, dressing rooms, cabinets where food is stored, warehouses where flour bags are stored, the cleanliness and health status of the rooms, disinfection, mop cleaning, ventilation systems, labels, compliance of products with the Turkish Food Codex, cleanliness of toilets, and business licenses were individually checked.
