Emphasizing that it adopts the understanding of sustainable water management, Qua Granite says that it is the duty of everyone to provide a good life to future generations by avoiding water shortage.
The World Water Day, which was declared in 1993 in order to raise awareness by drawing attention to the protection of clean water problems and water resources of the United Nations (UN) and celebrated every year on 22 March, was celebrated this year with the theme “accelerating change through partnerships and cooperation”. Among the main focal points of World Water Day is to support the “clean water and sanitation” target of the UN’s sustainable development objectives. In this context, it is aimed to ensure that everyone around the world access to clean and safe water by 2030.
Qua Granite, Turkey’s largest technical granite manufacturer, draws attention to the existence of water that is increasingly decreasing and wasted on this important day. Qua Granite, who works for a livable world, underlines that even a drop of water, the symbol of fertility, is too precious to be wasted.
Qua Granite Marketing Manager Hande Sarpkaya stressed that they have adopted the philosophy of respect for nature: uz We adopt the lifelong sustainability approach in our products to provide a good life to future generations. We are aware that there will be no life that can be lived without water. Therefore, we aim to reduce the consumption of natural resources and keep the environmental effects of products at the lowest level. In order to increase our productivity and prevent waste of water, we bring 100 %of the wastewater formed during our production activities to the production of 94,000 m3/day without discharge to nature. Qua Granite, even without wasting a drop of water; We will continue to protect nature not only on World Water Day, but in every aspect and instant nature of our lives. ”
