The metropolitan municipality organized a celebration program at the Mother City Defne Facilities located in Gebze for Mother’s Day.

Within the scope of the “Kocaeli Mother City” project, the Metropolitan Municipality, which organizes activities and events for mothers throughout the city, did not forget the mothers of Kocaeli on Mother’s Day. In this context, the Women and Family Services Branch Directorate touched their hearts by organizing a Mother’s Day event at the Mother City Defne Facilities in Gebze.

“HEAVEN IS AT THE FEET OF MOTHERS”

The program, where it was emphasized that the value of mothers is so great that it cannot be expressed in words, featured colorful scenes. During the program, it was emphasized that “if it weren’t for mothers, there would be no humanity. Mothers are so precious that we should not forget that heaven lies at the feet of mothers. Our mothers are the pillars of the family and the future of society. A strong society is only possible with a strong foundation in family structure.”

AMUSING RESPONSES FROM CHILDREN

Videos prepared by pre-school students at the Defne Facilities were shown to their mothers accompanied by a slideshow. In the program, which witnessed emotional moments, questions were asked to children to observe and test their memories about their mothers, and the funny responses they gave brought laughter among the mothers. The program concluded with a group photo taken as a memento of the day and the presentation of gifts.
