Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Osman Gürün celebrated the 14 March Medicine Day of all health workers working in the field of health.
Stating that they owe a lot to all health workers who work day and night to protect and maintain health, which is the greatest treasure, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Osman Gurun celebrated the 14 March Medicine Day of all healthcare professionals.
Stating that more importance was given to people and human health in the field of medicine and health in our country after the Republic period, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Osman Gürün, the founder of the Turkish Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, said, “The health and well-being of the Turkish citizen, to whom the revolution and revolutionism have given various and vital tasks, is our national problem that will always be carefully considered. Because the Republic demands strong and high-level protectors in intellectual, scientific and physical terms.” While emphasizing the great responsibility of those working in the field of health with his words, he also said that Atatürk’s statement “Entrust me to Turkish physicians” is an expression of trust in Turkish doctors. All of our healthcare professionals have not failed this trust of our father by working devotedly and selflessly during the pandemic process surrounding the world. With these thoughts, I once again commemorate all our healthcare workers who lost their lives in the epidemic with respect and gratitude.
