Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay examined the construction of Akyokuş Pavilion, which will be brought to the city by the Metropolitan Municipality in the Akyokuş region.

Stating that the construction is now in the recovery phase and that it will start serving the people of Konya from the summer months, Mayor Altay said, “Here, we are making an important arrangement for the Akyokuş cloaks. Our people will be able to observe the city in social areas in Akyokuş cloaks. In Akyokuş Pavilion, we will have an important area where we can serve the traditional tastes of Konya. Akyokuş region will become one of the most important attraction centers of Konya again.”

Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues to work on the arrangement of Akyokuş Summer Palace, which will add value to Konya.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, who made inspections in the construction of Akyokuş Pavilion, which is under construction in the Akyokuş region, said that Akyokuş, which is very popular with Konya residents and guests from outside of Konya, is one of the most important places of the city.

Stating that the restaurant in Akyokuş was demolished and a pavilion worthy of Konya was built, Mayor Altay said, “Our construction has now come to the stage of recovery. It will start to serve the people of Konya as of summer. We are also making an important adjustment to Akyokuş cloaks here. Thus, this place will be one of the frequent destinations of those who come to Konya. Our aim here is to ensure the development of tourism in Konya. In addition, to ensure that Konya cuisine is offered to our guests, especially in these places.”

Emphasizing that the Akyokuş region will become one of the most important attraction centers of Konya again, Mayor Altay said, “We will have an important area where our people can observe the city in social areas in Akyokuş pavilions, and we will have an important area where we can serve the traditional tastes of Konya in Akyokuş Pavilion. As Konya Metropolitan Municipality, we try to create works that will add architectural value to our city in all our works. This work can be seen from every region of Konya; It will be one of the most important attraction centers of Konya with its daytime and evening hours.
