Memory of Art, which began its journey as a digital gallery, has met with its audience through its first physical mixed photography exhibition.

The exhibition titled “Translation-less” opened on October 30, 2025, at 18:00 at Kadıköy Köşk Moda.
The exhibition can be visited until November 30, 2025, between 13:30 – 22:00 on Tuesdays – Fridays and Sundays.
Photography, as a form of remembrance, stops time while setting memory in motion. A still frame makes visible not only the past but also our moments, our emotions, and our perception of the present. This connection established between the real and the imagined invites the viewer into their own inner story.

These photographs, “built from darkness into light,” hold time in suspense while carrying memory into a personal space. Sometimes face to face, sometimes side by side, sometimes eye to eye… In each frame, it is we who change; what we look at is no longer of yesterday, but a reflection of our present self.


Setting out from Khalkedon, the so-called “Land of the Blind,” this exhibition creates a common memory space that can be translated through emotions, beyond language.
“Borrowed Moments” invites the viewer into both the silence of the past and the light of today.

Photography is a form of remembrance. It merges the arrested moment with our memories and stirs our emotions. While it brings the real before us, it summons the meaning within our memory. Perhaps it is the only way to bring back time that has passed…


These sentences, built from darkness into light—that is, those frames—now hold time in suspense, personalizing what we remember based on that image. The memories that move us gain new meanings over the years.
You, I, we change, and when we look, what we see no longer belongs to yesterday but to today. Sometimes we are face to face, sometimes side by side, back to back, eye to eye, and sometimes we look deep within ourselves.

And now, from this place called the “Land of the Blind,” from Khalkedon, we will look upon something that needs no translation anywhere in the world, something you can translate with your emotions into any language:
