The awards were given to their owners in the 2022-2023 Academic Year Bursa Inter-School Local Chess Competition organized by Osmangazi Municipality in cooperation with Bursa Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and Bursa Provincial Representative of the Turkish Chess Federation.
The 2022-2023 Academic Year Bursa Inter-School Local Chess Competition, hosted by Osmangazi Municipality Youth and Sports Services Directorate at Ertuğrul Sağlam Sports Facilities, witnessed fierce struggles. In the junior girls category of the tournament, in which a total of 712 athletes participated, Private Bursa Kültür Secondary School took the first place, Sadettin Türkün Secondary School took the second place, the second team belonging to the Private Bursa Culture School took the third place, and Hocailyas Secondary School took the fourth place.
In the junior general category of the competition, where the athletes experienced great excitement, Private Emine Örnek Secondary School came first, Private Tan Secondary School came in second, Private Bursa Nilüfer Kaplan Secondary School came in third, and Bursa Central Anatolian Imam Hatip High School came in fourth. Private Özlüce Tan Secondary School, who sweated in the star girls category of the competition, came first, Sadettin Türkün Secondary School second, Vahide Aktuğ Secondary School third, Private Bursa Bahçeşehir Secondary School fourth, the stars were generally in Private Tan Secondary School gold, Private Emine Örnek Secondary School silver, 23 Nisan Secondary School and Private 3 Mart Azizoğlu. Middle School won a bronze medal.
Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Beytullah Seferler, Osmangazi Municipality Youth and Sports Services Manager Tamer Balaban and Bursa Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate School Sports Branch Manager Mesut Köse gave their awards to the athletes who achieved a degree at the end of the 2022-2023 Academic Year Bursa Interschool Local Chess Competition. The chess masters also thanked Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar for offering them such an important opportunity.
